Warehouse General Operative
Location: Basingstoke
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Hours: 5 out of 6 days (Monday to Saturday) - 14:00 - 22:00
Salary: £12.21 per hour potentially rising after 12-week probation

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a proactive and reliable Warehouse General Operative to support our Client's operations during periods of absence or high demand. This is a hands-on role where you'll help lead a small team, ensuring smooth and efficient warehouse processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily warehouse activities and support the team in achieving targets
• Monitor stock levels, goods in/out, and order accuracy
• Ensure health and safety standards are maintained
• Provide guidance and support to warehouse operatives
• Communicate effectively with other departments
• After the probation period, someone willing to be trained in the Driving division.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible and adaptable to changing demands
• Forklift license (desirable but not essential)
